Consultation With Morgan Levine
Morgan Levine, LCSW
Trauma Therapist and Intensives Expert
I’m a trauma therapist who outgrew the limitations of “traditional” therapy. My clients did, too.
I now run an intensives-only practice grounded in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment theory, and experiential somatic healing approaches. Clients travel from all over the country travel to work with me.
I offer 4-5 consecutive day therapy intensives and retreat-style intensives outside of Philadelphia, PA. This way of working has been informed by my own healing and learnings as a trauma therapist which have both changed my outlook on trauma therapy. I now train and consult with other clinicians to shift how they work.
If you’re here, you might be ready to build an offering that mutually supports both you, the clinician and your clients.
But building an intensive practice also raises important questions:’
How do you structure multi-day work ethically?
How do you pace complex trauma processing?
How do you integrate EMDR and IFS fluidly?
How do you prepare and support clients before and after the intensive?
How do you price your intensives sustainably?
How do you market intensives authentically without feeling performative?
How do you get comfortable with pricing and scheduling your time differently?
How do you create a practice model that supports your own nervous system, too?

Frequently Asked Questions
-
IFS-informed EMDR integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy with EMDR by tracking parts (such as protectors and exiles) throughout the EMDR process. This approach prioritizes relational attunement, nervous system pacing, and working with internal system dynamics during trauma processing.
