IFS-INFORMED EMDR INTENSIVES FOR THERAPISTS
Go deeper in your own healing.
Create intensive containers that work for you and your clients.
We ask our clients to turn toward difficult places inside themselves. To become curious about their protective systems. To stay present with what hurts. To trust a process that asks for vulnerability, courage, and uncertainty.
Our own willingness to do that work matters, too.
IFS EMDR Intensives was created around a belief that deep clinical work and the therapist's own ongoing healing belong in relationship with one another.
Here, therapists can experience intensive work from the inside—and learn how to thoughtfully create intensive treatment containers for the clients they serve.
The therapist parts are the biggest part of the work.
IFS EMDR Intensives provides Experiential IFS-Informed EMDR Intensives for therapists and Advanced EMDR intensive training and consultation for EMDR-trained clinicians.
Founded by Morgan Levine, LCSW, EMDRIA Approved Consultant and Certified IFS-Informed EMDR Therapist. IFS EMDR Intensives specializes in multi-day IFS-Informed EMDR intensive therapy for therapists and helping therapists design and implement intensive treatment models.
Not a therapist? No problem! IFS EMDR Therapy provides IFS-Informed EMDR therapy for everyone in weekly, biweekly 1-day intensives and multi-day intensives retreats.
Two ways to go deeper.

LEARN + BUILD
EMDR Intensive Training & Consultation
Move beyond simply extending the therapy hour.
Learn how to design clinically thoughtful, ethically grounded, sustainable intensive treatment—and build an intensive model that fits your clients, capacity, and practice.
WHY INTENSIVES?
Traditional therapy often asks both therapist and client to work in fragments — one 50-minute session at a time, interrupted week after week.
Intensives create the continuity, depth, and spaciousness needed for more immersive trauma processing, nervous system attunement, and relational repair.
When thoughtfully structured, intensives can support:
Deeper clinical focus
Reduced fragmentation
Stronger integration
More meaningful momentum in trauma work
Sustainable pacing for both therapist and client
THIS SPACE IS FOR YOU IF…

Founder’s Approach
Hi 👋 I’m Morgan Levine, an EMDRIA Approved Consultant, Certified IFS-Informed EMDR (Syzygy Institute) and Imago Relationship Therapy (Maya Kollman), and an IFS Institute trained IFS Therapist.
My work is grounded in the belief that trauma responses are adaptive and that healing happens when the nervous system has enough safety, attunement, and spaciousness to process what has been carried for so long.
I run an intensives-only practice and I have 20 years of experience in business operations and marketing. My specialties include:
IFS-Informed EMDR Intensives
Advanced EMDR
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Attachment-focused work
Complex PTSD
Creative somatic interventions that are dissociation and neurodiversity affirming
My passion is helping EMDR and IFS-Informed EMDR therapists move beyond rigid therapy structures and into ways of working that feel relational, sustainable, creative, and deeply aligned.
This is a space intentionally designed to support both your clinical growth and your nervous system.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
IFS-informed EMDR integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy with EMDR by tracking parts (such as protectors and exiles) throughout the EMDR process. This approach prioritizes relational attunement, nervous system pacing, and working with internal system dynamics during trauma processing.
-
An EMDR intensive is a way of delivering EMDR therapy using longer treatment sessions or concentrated blocks of treatment rather than relying exclusively on traditional weekly 50–60 minute sessions. Intensive structures can include extended sessions, half-days, full days, or multi-day treatment.
Designing an intensive requires consideration of client readiness, preparation, pacing, processing, regulation, integration, documentation, and continuity of care—not simply making a standard EMDR session longer.
-
EMDR-trained therapists interested in offering intensives can pursue advanced consultation and training focused specifically on intensive treatment. In addition to understanding how EMDR may be delivered within longer treatment windows, therapists need to consider screening, readiness, treatment planning, ethical practice, scheduling, pricing, documentation, collaboration with referring therapists, and integration.
Designing + Launching EMDR Intensives is a 3-month advanced EMDR consultation and implementation cohort designed to help EMDR-trained clinicians develop these elements within their own practices.
-
This cohort is intended for clinicians who have already completed an EMDRIA-approved EMDR basic training and have experience using EMDR clinically. It is advanced consultation and practice development rather than an EMDR basic training.
Therapists remain responsible for practicing within their individual competence, licensure requirements, professional ethics, and applicable laws and regulations.
-
There is no single structure that is appropriate for every therapist or client. An intensive may involve extended sessions, half-days, full days, or multiple consecutive treatment days.
A clinically thoughtful intensive model also considers what happens before, during, and after processing, including assessment, screening, preparation, treatment planning, pacing, regulation, breaks, integration, follow-up, and coordination with other providers when appropriate.
